July 22^nd was a special day for our Organization as the European Commission positively evaluated our FLEETfor55 project proposal which that coordinated, prepared and submitted by our Innovation Hub! The project will deal with the state-of-the-art sustainable energy efficiency technologies roadmap for waterborne transport towards the fit-for-55 guidance compliance. FLEETfor55 is 1 of the 2 proposals, out of 9 submitted in total, that was awarded with the EU Grant. The project will be coordinated by HYDRUS, will commence in late '24 and its duration is 3,5 years. The project consortium consists of 22 European partners, including, among others, NTUA, ABS, RINA, DNV, COLUMBIA, ATTICA GROUP, FINCANTIERI, as well as our affiliate WATERMELON. A noteworthy highlight is that FLEETfor55 is the 4th consecutive successful project proposal coordinated by HYDRUS, following the already ongoing NH3CRAFT, LH2CRAFT and SAFeCRAFT projects!
